Led by long-time Habitat volunteer Bill Strickland, Itron employee volunteers lift a completed wall into place.  During two half days of construction, Itron volunteers laid floor joists and decking in record time and built and raised three walls on a new Habitat house under construction in West Union.

Jon Goyert, first vice president and an on site construction volunteer commented, “This Itron team came out and functioned like a well oiled machine.  They were just amazing and we truly thank them for their hard work!”

Oconee County Habitat for Humanity recently started the fifteen-home subdivision in West Union.
